Ear Flap Hat Variations

You can crank out different sizes for donations, as I do, with very little time and yarn. Sizes shown below are toddler in the first 3 and child in the purple one. FLOWER SHAWL Yarn: Caron's Simply Soft (Be safe and buy 4 skeins) Hook: 5MM Special stitches used: D TR (Double Treble) 3 TR joined (3 treble stitches where last stitch is kept on hook until all 3 Trebles are made) yarn over and draw through all loops. *********** I spent a great deal of time trying to find the exact pattern for the motif on-line to no avail.  The pattern that can be substituted with only a minor change is called Maybelle and can be found at this link: http://6ichthusfish.typepad.com/6ichthusfish/2010/05/maybelle-crochet-flower-free-pattern.html The only difference in the motif pattern is that there are 8 DC in each loop on the last round, not 7 as is called for in the pattern. As with most of my patterns, I learned far too late to write these things down, and I am sitting here with the shawl on my lap trying to remember back to 2015 when I first made this shawl.
